Lions Club
AaVI has partnered with the Guaranda and Santo Domingo Lions Clubs in bringing medical treatment to Ecuador. The main focus of their support is related to eye care.
Ecuadorian Universities
AaVI collaborates with several universities throughout Ecuador in relation to medical missions. These universities provide medical school students who attend our medical trips, as well as doctors. They also provide dentists and dental students in support of our country-wide efforts to support medical care. Catholic University of Cuenca, Metropolitana University of Quito, San Gregorio University of Portoviejo, Laica Eloy Alfaro University of Manta to name a few.
United States Universities
AaVI partners with universities across the United States in support of medical trips. These universities bring doctors, dentists and students into Ecuador creating a learning environment very unique to the normal routine of day to day university classes. These universities include Rocky Vista University of Parker, Colorado, and the University of Florida, Gainesville.
Various Technical Universities
AaVI has partnerships with the Quito Institute of Technology who has developed software programs to support patient record keeping on medical trips. In addition, AaVI partners with Cordillera Institute of Quito for optometry support on medical trips as well as pharmacy support for these trips.
Ecuadorian Air Force (FAE)
AaVI partners with the FAE on medical trips. Their support includes aircraft for personnel transportation, military medical personnel, transport of medical equipment and supplies.
